Choco Essence Started in My Kitchen
It was a rainy Saturday in 2018 when I baked my first chocolate cake for a friend's birthday. She called me the next morning and said, "Priya, you need to sell these." That was the moment Choco Essence was born.
I've always believed that a truly great cake is a piece of edible art — it should taste as beautiful as it looks. So I trained under some of the finest pastry chefs in the city, travelled to Belgium to understand chocolate at its source, and came back with one mission: to create the finest handmade confections India has ever tasted.
Today, our little studio in Mumbai crafts hundreds of custom cakes every month. But every single one of them is made exactly as that first cake was — with a whole lot of love.
